BRIDE MEETS GROOM

A joyful Cambridge wedding and an ombre chuppah to behold

Betsy and Danny have dating app Coffee Meets Bagel to thank for bringing them together. In 2018, they moved to the Boston area, where most of Betsy’s immediate family lives. So why the Marlowe for their wedding day? In addition to already loving Cambridge, they also had logistical reasons for choosing a venue that was near the airport and made it easy for out-of-town guests to get around without a car. The pair liked everyone they met on the Marlowe team and appreciated the flexibility offered when it came to items like linens. On their big day, the bride wore a gorgeous gown by BHLDN, while the groom donned a tux by Calvin Klein.

Memorable Details

Betsy’s bridesmaids joined her and they had a great time getting ready together in the Executive Suite. All vendors arrived exactly when they said they would, everyone looked incredible, and the vibe was very relaxed and convivial.

Betsy was so glad her mother insisted they take photos with the chuppah after the ceremony; it was too beautiful to immediately take down.

The room exceeded the couple’s expectations. The flowers (done by Poppy Floral) were exactly what the bride had envisioned, and the chuppah blew everyone away. They also can’t overstate enough the stunning impact of the lighting, raving that it made the room glow in a way that didn’t feel over the top.

The couple credits their guests for truly making their wedding memorable; everyone seemed to genuinely enjoy themselves and they didn’t shy away from the dance floor. The happy bride and groom, who spent their wedding night in the Executive Suite, said, “As cheesy as it sounds, I think our guests were the ‘wow’ factor.”
